Korean medical aesthetics has gained global attention for its technology, skin-focused treatment philosophy, regenerative concepts, and natural-looking outcomes. But understanding the field requires more than following the newest procedure online.
Why Learn About Korean Medical Aesthetics in Korea?
Korean aesthetics is often introduced internationally through viral treatments, new products, or social media trends. Those snapshots can be interesting, but they do not fully explain how Korean physicians evaluate patients, build treatment plans, combine modalities, or decide what will create a natural-looking result.
This program is intended to help participants look beyond individual products and understand the clinical thinking behind Korean aesthetic medicine.
More Than a Clinic Tour
The goal is not simply to watch procedures or collect product names. The experience is being designed around observation, discussion, questions, clinical reasoning, and a deeper understanding of why Korean medical aesthetics has developed differently.

The goal is not simply to “see what Korea is doing.” It is to understand the clinical philosophy and innovation behind Korean medical aesthetics—inside Korea itself.
Learning From Korean Physicians
The program is being developed to include visits to selected Korean aesthetic clinics and educational opportunities with Korean physicians. Participants may observe how consultation, treatment planning, combination therapies, and patient-specific decisions are approached in Korean practice.
Rather than presenting one universal “Korean technique,” the experience is intended to show participants the reasoning, priorities, and clinical perspectives behind different treatment approaches.
Connecting Clinical Medicine With Industry Innovation
Korea’s aesthetic ecosystem extends beyond clinics. Medical-device companies, injectable and skincare manufacturers, biotechnology, regenerative technologies, research, and product development all contribute to the country’s rapidly evolving aesthetic industry.
Selected industry visits are expected to help participants understand how clinical practice, product development, and medical technology influence one another.

The inaugural program is intentionally planned as a limited cohort. A smaller group can create more meaningful opportunities for discussion, observation, questions, and interaction than a large conference or conventional tour.
The objective is depth rather than volume—a focused educational environment where participants can engage with what they are seeing and connect those observations to their own professional experience in the United States.
Program Development & Collaboration
DMS NAMA is developing the Korea Medical Aesthetic Immersion Program in collaboration with SafeDoc, which is coordinating Korean medical institutions, physicians, companies, and local program operations.
Participating clinics, physicians, companies, educational sessions, and the final itinerary will be announced as they are confirmed.

Korean medical aesthetics has attracted worldwide attention, but meaningful professional education requires more than following the newest treatment online.
The Korea Medical Aesthetic Immersion Program is being created to give healthcare professionals an opportunity to learn in context—to observe Korean aesthetic medicine where it is practiced, exchange ideas with professionals, explore the technologies supporting the field, and return home with a deeper understanding of the clinical philosophy behind the industry.

This is an educational and observational program. Participation does not authorize U.S. healthcare professionals to independently practice medicine or perform procedures in Korea.
